NEW ALBUM • IN PRODUCTION
Crown Emcees
West Coast heritage meets elite production.
Three brothers out of Victoria. Nic Cleav, Spliff Chief and AC Breeze, some of the best rap talent the Island has.
Nic is a frightening freestyler whose accent lands somewhere between BC and LA. Spliff writes East Coast: dense lyricism, flows that refuse to sit where you expect them. AC splits the difference and somehow comes out sounding almost Midwest. Three voices that shouldn’t fit together, and do.
I produced every track but one and mixed the beats. Built from the ground up for this group rather than pulled off a shelf, boom bap with West Coast G-funk in the bones. Mastered by Big Heat. With features including West Coast veteran Spice 1.

NEW ALBUM
CREATURE
"In a society gone mad, traumas turn into teeth of the CREATURE"
I recorded CREATURE in the woods on Vancouver Island. Each track moves from trauma toward power, starting in honest self-satire and ending somewhere closer to a rap dad waking up the animal in himself.
My son is on nearly every song. He raps with me and treats the whole thing as an excuse to cuss like a madman. I don’t know of another father and son duo this unfiltered.
On the production side, organic sample chops ride West Coast rhythms with a crunch out of the early 2000s. There is some Northwest jazz rap in there too. The result sits between genres and feels both ancient and futuristic. Rain on moss became percussion, and the howl of distant wolves became harmony.
Featured Singles
UNO
Father/son duo, high-energy, satirical chaos

A genre-bending hip-hop banger that features LiftedPro's 6-year-old son on the hook. The track carries a rebellious vibe over dirty drums and fuses nostalgia with chaos. It has a fun, upbeat vibe, contrasting some of the album's heavier material. It has been compared to the sounds of Beastie Boys meeting early Eminem.
So come an get it, you young I'm vetted, you done forget it, so become a medic if you wanna be sympathetic, give em a message from the bottom of my soul, imprinted on my foot when I stomp em in control
Let Me Live
Generational healing, unconditional love, and reclaiming identity in the aftermath of betrayal

LiftedPros most vulnerable work to date, fusing soulful rap with outlaw country. The song acts as a letter to his son, Maxzen, exploring fatherhood, betrayal, and the will to break destructive cycles. The lyrics reflect the heavy feeling of being disliked-heavy on the psyche
I just want my boy to be happy. No matter how he looks at me, he can always look to call on his daddy...I know you confused because the fam in a feud, I didn't want their abuse to contaminate you, it's like we been in a famine watching while they ate food
All On Me
Personal growth, self-reliance, and accountability, highlighting the importance of speaking one's own honesty and finding individual significance

This is an introspective dive into personal growth and accountability, utilizing steady beats and layered production. The track provides a candid exploration of the artist's struggles and victories, serving as a reminder that self-reliance is both a challenge and a source of strength.
Just bad energy, making pretend-to-be friends of me potentially pulled me away from being the best emcee...what really matters is that I speak my own honesty, my own story cause it's all on me
Discography
Behind the Production
Deeply rooted in personal experience, technical mastery, and a strong sense of place, LiftedPro's musical process blends raw, therapeutic expression with sophisticated production techniques, resulting in a unique style of Northwest hip-hop.
The Overall Process and Philosophy
LiftedPro's musical process is intrinsically tied to self-discovery and catharsis. He views his music as a form of "free therapy" and a "therapeutic journal", which allows him to explain his every thought.
The name "LiftedPro" evolved from "Lifted Productions," a record label he established in 2004. The name symbolizes "rising up" and "lifting the consciousness above the coherent mess we call reality". The "Pro" element stands for Proficient, Process, Professional, and Productions.
LiftedPro is a dedicated craftsman who functions as a one-person production house. He produces, writes, records, arranges, mixes, and masters all of his work. Even while working full-time as a journeyman, he maintained a rigorous creative schedule, continuously writing, recording, and creating new material daily.
Recording Techniques and Production Style
LiftedPro's sound is consistently defined as Boom Bap fused with West Coast flavor/G-Funk. His music is deliberately grounded in hip-hop's storytelling legacy.
His production process typically begins with either a sample or chords, followed by building the drums, bass, guitar, and synth until the hook is fully formed. He utilizes hardware like samplers and drum pads (MPC2500/MPD) and a MiniKorg synthesizer, along with a large library of samples and VST instrumentals, rarely reusing the same sounds.
He is known for blending hip-hop with diverse genres through sampling. His work draws from classic Rock, Indie, R&B, and even country-Blues textures, creating a unique sonic landscape that refuses boundaries.
Core Themes and Subject Matter
His music delves into complex territory: resilience and authenticity, family and trauma, fatherhood and legacy. His (currently) six-year-old son, Maxzen (MXZN), is frequently featured in his art, representing "the savior I never knew I had to have."
Raised in the "bush" outside Victoria, BC, nature is a source of resilience and peace. He uses powerful imagery of the Pacific Northwest wilderness, referring to himself as being "from the bush where the bears are thugs and the blood turns into paintings."
The Creature Album and Creative Future
LiftedPro's forthcoming album, CREATURE, is shaping up to be his most successful and complex work to date. The album is a concept project following a journey through the dark forest at night, where "traumas turn into teeth of the CREATURE" and anarchy finds its anthem.
Visual and Marketing Strategy: LiftedPro is also a skilled graphic designer, illustrator, and video editor. He has leveraged his visual skills and the rise of AI-assisted video creation to provide cohesive visual themes despite budget constraints.
Planned music videos showcase this blend of real-life footage and AI visualization:
- "Reaction" utilized an AI video featuring a bear in a forest lab.
- "Discussions" is planned to use AI video woven into real footage of himself in the forest, surrounded by sasquatches, bears, cougars, and ravens making music.
- "UNO" includes complex video concepts involving Maxzen driving a van and using post-effects to make it look like they are falling from a graffiti wall.
His current promotion plan for CREATURE focuses on consistency, utilizing platforms like TikTok and Instagram to rap freestyle verses made-up on-the-spot while driving. 'The Creature Calendar' provides a visually stunning tie-in to the album's thematic core.
LiftedPro's process is akin to a seasoned blacksmith in a hidden workshop: he takes the raw ore of life's struggles and family chaos, uses the intense fire of therapeutic expression, and hammers it all into uniquely shaped, functional works of art, blending the old-school strength of boom-bap with the sharp, modern edge of cinematic lyricism.
