Standing out as a “new festival on the block” was important to our client. With big headliners, a winding river & wildlife theme; we used vivid colors and illustrations to create original concepts, art and itinerary that draw attention and showcase the connection between music and nature.

Ponderooza is a fictional music festival to be held on the Kettle River in British Columbia, Canada. The brand needed to showcase the huge lineup and location of the event. So I created original artwork and brand strategies to set us apart from the other large festivals held every summer.
Using a focus on wildfire safety, and harmony between good times and nature; we aimed this festival to be a “river revival”, with proceeds towards curving the spread of devasting wildfires that have been depleting this Ponderosa pine forests each year.
To give a sense of the activities, like river tubing, illustrations were created with a fun vibe, and color schemes accentuating love, music & nature through unity and contrast within these designs.
