Wifey with a Knifey
Our client needed her personality emphasized into a brand that showcased her charmingly sassy attitude while enticing the appetite of her audience.
A trendy, new Food truck service to be operating in BC. The owner of this business has the pizzazz to be her own mascot: and that’s exactly what we did with the concept of “Wifey with a Knifey”. This is a name adopted from a ‘sign-off’ for notes she would leave her husband for work.
The Wife with a Knife idea boarders on the sinister, making the audience question what the knife is for and quickly realize the business intentions.
The aesthetic of this brand is meant to give the feel of Summertime street food by the beach with a fresh aura. Inspirations for the look come from 1960’s pin-up models, mom’s home cooked meals, and Rosie the famed female war mechanic.
