This project actually began on canvas as a painting I created of scenes in various locations across the province of British Columbia. This is a hip hop song themed by local spots and memories of them. I painted the Vancouver skyline, BC Ferries leaving Swartz Bay, cliff jumping at Thetis Lake, the My-Chosen-Cafe, Sea to Sky highway, Peachland view of the Okanagan lake and the top of the Coquihalla highway.
After the painting, I imported a photo of it into Photoshop where I masked it within the Typography. Adjustment layers were added and the layout was proportioned for a music release on Spotify, iTunes and other stores Online.
